Dry gas seals
Protection of contact-free gas seals in offshore turbine compressors
EagleBurgmann took an exclusive licence in 2015 and put the unit into service in 2016, after a pressure test to 330 bar.
InnSep has one technology and many markets. The Lynx separator takes liquid out of a gas stream. Wherever that has value, there is an application.
Kitchen air is one example. Ship exhaust is another. Gas seals on offshore compressors are a third. Weightlessness is a fourth. The point is not the individual market. The point is that it is the same separator every time.
Eight areas are listed below. Each one carries the highest step it has reached, with the year, and links to the stories in the archive that show it. Four of them were licensed or sold and put into use by another company.

Removal of grease from kitchen exhaust air
Two years of operation without downtime in a Trondheim restaurant, then a commercial launch in 2023 and a Norwegian industry award in 2025.
Cleaning of recirculated exhaust gas on marine engines
Flebu International took an exclusive sales agreement in 2018. In 2023 InnSep stated that the system was in use with Norwegian partners.
Removal of liquid from compressed air, before and after the compressor
In 2023 InnSep stated that the separator was in use with Norwegian partners for cleaning compressed air used in seismic operations.
Gas/liquid separation on offshore installations, Lynx 250
The Lynx 250 was tested to 90 bar at the Statoil high pressure facility at Rotvoll in 2016, PED certified, and presented at TEKNA in Stavanger the same year.
SOx and NOx removal from ship exhaust
A project with INVENTAS and the MAROFF programme from 2014. Diesel exhaust was cleaned in a trial at the EagleBurgmann Norway laboratory in 2015.
Preconditioning of ventilation air ahead of a heat exchanger
SkatteFUNN awarded R&D support in 2023 for a project on whether the Lynx principle can keep heat exchangers clean. InnSep carried the project out as applied for.
Separation without gravity, for spacecraft and habitats
InnSep described a separator design for weightlessness in 2022 and reached out to space organisations for collaboration.
The concept is described. No physical test.
Tested under controlled conditions.
Tested at full scale or at a user site.
Sold or licensed, and in use with another company.
Each level records the highest step an area has reached, with the year it reached it. It does not describe the status today.
Each level is the highest step the area has reached, with the year it reached it. It is not a statement about status today.
Two areas sit at concept and lab level next to four in operation. That spread is the honest picture, and it is the reason the four can be trusted.
An area that has been licensed to a global supplier and one that exists as a drawing are not the same thing, and this site does not present them as though they were.
Openings
InnSep is opening the technology to partners and investors. The form is not fixed. It depends on the area, and on who is on the other side of the table.
The company would rather hear what you have in mind than tell you what is on offer. Start with a conversation.

The kitchen separator has been sold and installed in Norway since 2023, and Tovenco carries it in Sweden today. Lynx Kitchen is looking for larger partners who can take it further, first in Sweden and Denmark.
The category does not matter. A contractor moving into commercial kitchens counts, and so does a seller who wants a larger share of the market and of the value chain.
Lynx Kitchen is the contract party for the kitchen system.

The same separator has been licensed, sold and tested across seven other markets, from dry gas seals offshore to exhaust gas recirculation on ships. Each of them has a history, a year, and a source in the archive.
What an investor would buy is not settled. Shares, a stake in one area, or a licence are all open. That answer should come out of the first conversations, not out of an assumption made in advance.
InnSep is the contract party for everything other than the kitchen system.
One line about which area interests you is enough to start. Call or write.
The site does not answer what a licence costs, what a share would be worth, or how royalties would work. Those belong in the conversation, where your own view of the model matters as much as ours.
